End of term, time to relax......

Today was the last day of the 2011 - 2012 school term.  Everyone including the children were all ready for a well earned rest.
Our class had our summer day out today.  We went to Hazlehead park in the morning and dodged the showers then to Wynford Farm Play barn which was very good in the afternoon.
I didn't leave work until 4.40 as we were moving classrooms and tidying out cupboards.
Still got lots of reorganising to do.

With gifts being exchanged I received a lovely outdoor planter flower arrangement from my current teacher along with a thank you card!  The card was one of my own created at a class by Erica Gunter at the Papeterie the other month.  I have never been given one of my own cards before!!

Tim Holtz with Kath Stewart.....

Today Lilian and I attended a Tim Holtz class at the Papeterie taken by Kath Stewart.
It was a very enjoyable class.  We made 4 tags using different techniques. The class was supposed to last 2 hours but ran over and lasted 3 hours.
I was very pleased with the results.  I think I will be purchasing some distressing inks and having a go at home.

Bags, tags, boxes and more 2 is here!!!

Thankfully my switch from o2 to Bt internet went without a hitch and I have updated emails and my details on most of the sites I subscribe to.  Hopefully not missed any.

Purchased this cart from Create and Craft the other day.  I normally won't pay the prices they charge but couldn't see it cheaper anywhere else.  Can't wait to start making some things from it.

Change of email address

I have changed my service provider to BT Internet.  All is supposed to happen on Friday so hopefully fingers crossed there will be no glitches. Then I can move everything over to my new computer which I haven't picked up yet.  Need to do that tomorrow.

Scottish thistles

This is the first time I have used this thistle stamp I bought at the SECC in March.  It is a Lavinia stamp set.  I used Stampin up perfect plum ink and an ink duster for the background, then stamped with the perfect plum ink.

Sixth year prom photo

Daniel went to his 6th year prom the other night.  He was very smart in his kilt.  The tartan is Scotland the Brave.
We hired it from Milsom and Main in the Galleria in Aberdeen.
