Chain Maille first attempt...

This is my first attempt at chain Maille. It took me 3 hours to complete. It was very frustrating as I kept dropping the piece when manipulating the links.
I was very pleased with the result. I wore it to my bowls club and got an order for a green one!!!

Replacement and new...

I decided I didn't like the Agate with the Mother of Pearl in the bracelet  so replaced it with Milky Quartz and made a matching necklace too...

Lots more jewellery makes...

Here are the pieces I have made this week...
I bought a strand of Sapphire as it is my birthstone and teamed it up with sterling silver 3mm beads. It is very delicate just how I like my necklaces.
The red Agate and Quartzite and the blue dyed Quartz bracelets are a take on Tina's pearl bracelet on last nights jewellery maker late show.
The other bracelet is Mother of pearl squares and Agate.
The multi gem necklace was an order from work yesterday using blue lava rock coins, milky Quartz and Apatite.
The blue Aquamarine necklace wth silver plated bead is for my mums birthday on 11th March as its her birthstone. Mothers day is the 10th so will have to make something else!!

Watches... and Bracelet aid...

Two watches made from my original stash of acrylic and glass beads...
Believe it or not but acrylic and glass beads are as expensive as the genuine gemstones I purchase from www.jewellerymaker.com ...
A bracelet aid to help you fasten those tricky clasps... Hook it on the loop of your bracelet and hold the aid in your palm and attach your clasp...

Crackled Quartz and more.....

This week I made one item a night...
I made a bracelet aid to help put on tricky clasps, a crackled Quartz elasticated bracelet, a fuchsia striped Agate with Aluminium and silver beads bracelet and a Quartz and Agate running stitch bracelet. I also got 3 orders for my tree of life necklaces... 2 using Emerald chips and 1 using deep pink Rhodinite nuggets....
