First time at NEC

Lilian and I decided to give the SECC a miss this October and go to the NEC instead.
It was great. It took us all day to get round the many stalls.
We took part in the Matthew Palmer watercolour class. I was very pleased with the result.
The next day we spent doing several workshops including a sunset pastel snow scene class with Jeremy Ford. This picture looked unachievable when we started but the result was fantastic. I have bought mounts and frames so I can put them on my wall.
We didn't buy much this trip as we were hand luggage only on the flights we booked. Quite a good strategy to keep pennies in our purses.
