Hello all. I am a Nursery Nurse working with special needs children within a main stream school and love it. I have worked as a NN for 34 years and wouldn't change for anything. I have always crafted in some way or another since the age of 7. At present I do a bit of patchwork and quilting, jewellery making and card making.

Stampin' up round tab punch handbag card
This tab punch is so versatile, it can be folded in half as a tab at the edge of a card or gift bag and it can also be used as a little gift card too. I discovered on a sample listed on the internet that if you cut them in half you can make cute little handbags!! I used a stamp from Stampin up Sweet Summer stamp set to decorate the bags. I used my gypsy and cricut to cut the oval handles, my 1" punch for the handbag tops and my stampin up border punch for the lace effect border. The backing paper is from Crafters Companion SWALK cd.

Stampin up Bird on a Branch Punch
Bought this punch last month. I made one card this week to do with the kids at school (earlier post). Tonight I was making card packs for my own craft class on Wednesday and decided to do another card using the same punch. Just think it is fab. The papers I used were printed from Crafters Companion SWALK cds.
I got this card idea from a sample on the internet and altered it to suit my needs.

Lavinia Stamps
This is one of the cards we will be doing at my craft class on Wednesday 2nd March. It has been stamped using a lavinia stamp set which I can't remember the name of. I used Stampin up Melon Mambo ink and card. Once I stamped the image I let it dry and then used a quickie glue pen and added glitter. The backing paper was from Crafters Companion SWALK 2 cd.

Latest cards for Kids craft class!
These are the 2 cards the kids made at craft club last night after school. I used a stampin up stamp set with a selection of images which the kids chose from. There was a birthday cake, flower and tower of presents. I also let them choose their own cuttlebug embossing folder for their cards. We decorated the bottom of the matting with a stampin up border punch. The bird card was done using the stampin up bird punch and Close to my heart papers. The kids didn't put on a sentiment so they could use it for any occasion.

Close to my heart - Wings papers
I got this set from a friend for Christmas and decided to make something with it today. The butterfly papers have vibrant colours. I used a small strip at the side of the card and cut out some of the butterflies. These I attached with pinflair glue so they would stand proud from the card. I used the stamp phrase from the Wings stamp set for the sentiment.
