3 Colour Woven Bracelet

Made this bracelet today after seeing the technique on Jewellery Maker.
I used 6mm beads I had to try out the bracelet. I needed 25 of the blue and green and 12 of the black.
You will obviously use less if using larger beads.
The sample on JM was made with all the same bead where the blue and green are and it gave a hooped effect.

Blue bracelets

I bought glass beads from beaders companion a while ago. I made these 2 bracelets the other day. One is elasticated and one has a beaded flower with clasp fastening.

I have recently discovered 'The Jewellery Maker' channel. SKY 655.
I have bought lots of genuine gems so I can make lots of nice pieces.
Here we have a strand of multi colour Agate oblongs. I hope to get a few bracelets from this strand.

They're finally here!!

I finally got my ne bowls this week. Hooray!
Tonight was the first game I had using them.
I was worried about not playing very well, but I played ok!
Our rink also won the prize tonight, which was the rink with the most shots in the first end.

First time at NEC

Lilian and I decided to give the SECC a miss this October and go to the NEC instead.
It was great. It took us all day to get round the many stalls.
We took part in the Matthew Palmer watercolour class. I was very pleased with the result.
The next day we spent doing several workshops including a sunset pastel snow scene class with Jeremy Ford. This picture looked unachievable when we started but the result was fantastic. I have bought mounts and frames so I can put them on my wall.
We didn't buy much this trip as we were hand luggage only on the flights we booked. Quite a good strategy to keep pennies in our purses.

Christmas cards....

These are  the cards I have made for some upcoming christmas sales and craft classes.
Some of the cards were made using Digistampboutique downloads.  I used the samples on the site as they were quick and simple.  I also found some ideas for using my Cricut cartridges.  I made about 10 of each of these cards.

Serif Craft Artist 60th Birthday Card

I was asked to make a 60th Birthday card for a friend.  I decided to use Craft Artist.  I made all the layers and printed them separately.  I cut out the mats and mounted them on brown card. I then cut out the butterflies, added wires for the antenna and attached the butterflies with glue gel , finally I added a rose and a ribbon to finish.
