This year's Christmas disaster!!
Got a call from my bank yesterday afternoon saying they would like to discuss some transactions on my account. It turned out that someone had tried several times to buy things on my Debit Card. The amount was £1030.00!!! Guess what the bank did? They cancelled my card!!!! So no card to finish my Christmas shopping and I can only get cash if I go into the bank with photo ID. Not easy when you are working Can't believe it.

Look on the good side, at least your bank noticed and informed you of this problem before it got much worse. We've had our card hijacked twicw now and it was us that found it not the bank. Good luck with the rest of your shopping and have a Merry Christmas.
