Surprise holiday in London..........

A friend of mine texted the other day asking if my husband and I fancied 3-4 weeks in London in July and August.  Her sister is looking for someone to house sit and she suggested me.
We have been thinking of taking our son to London for a while so this has fitted in great.
My son and I would like to see the Lion King in the West End as when we saw it in Chicago we had seats off to the side up in the balcony.  The show was good but would like to see it straight on if possible.
The Olympics will be on while we are there so we may see the Marathon or the cycle races going through the streets.
Hope everything goes according to plan as I am so looking forward to it...

At long last my new debit card pin number arrived......  I now feel much better and can go to a shop and buy what I want without worrying if I have enough cash in my purse....
You don't realise how dependant you are on your debit card until it's gone....

On a happier note, I ordered Dawn Bibby's 4 day deal the other day and am hoping it comes soon.  I am going to have a go at printing my own papers and foiling them with my foiling machine and see if I can get a similar result.

I also ordered the new Crafter's Companion Strawberry Kisses set which was very cute.
They mentioned on C&C that their Spectrum Noir pens are expected in the next couple of days.  I have been waiting for several months for my order of these pens, so hopefully I will have them very soon................

Yesterday I got a bargain in HMV.... I love Columbo and got the boxed complete series for £59.  My husband and I will work our way through it as I'm sure we never saw every episode when it was on the TV...

Hooray new card came today....BUT!!!

Well after waiting so long for my new debit card it eventually arrived today.  It said it was ready to use just sign the back.  I duly did this and went off to meet my friend Lilian in town.  I decided to pay my credit card with M&S off as I'd been using it instead.  I entered my pin and it said wrong pin.  I tried again, but no joy.  Obviously my card was not ready to use.... I still need to get a new pin obviously..... How long is that going to take I wonder!!!!
Only good thing from this is I have a healthy bank balance.....

No new card until January now!!!

Was in the bank today and they found that no one had ordered a new debit card when they cancelled the old one.  All the time I have been expecting it, it would never have come.  Now I should get it on the 2nd of January.  Not holding my breath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still no money!!!

I can't believe I still haven't received my new debit card.  If it doesn't arrive tomorrow it will be at least Wednesday before I get it.
One good thing is that I haven't been able to spend any money.
Finished work today for 2 weeks.  Looking forward to a relaxing time.
Got my lottery tickets for tonight's Euromillion's draws.  Hope I am lucky but not holding out much hope.

This year's Christmas disaster!!

Got a call from my bank yesterday afternoon saying they would like to discuss some transactions on my account.  It turned out that someone had tried several times to buy things on my Debit Card.  The amount was £1030.00!!!  Guess what the bank did?  They cancelled my card!!!!  So no card to finish my Christmas shopping and I can only get cash if I go into the bank with photo ID.  Not easy when you are working  Can't believe it.

Cute wobble santa card

Here is a christmas card I made using the cute santa colletion from Digistamp Boutique.  I coloured it using my promarkers.  I used coordinations paper for the background, which I embossed with a new christmas embossing folder I bought at the SECC recently.  I used the sand it gadget and dust buddy to reveal the core colour.  I then cut out the image and added an action wobble so he will move.
