Hello all. I am a Nursery Nurse working with special needs children within a main stream school and love it. I have worked as a NN for 34 years and wouldn't change for anything. I have always crafted in some way or another since the age of 7. At present I do a bit of patchwork and quilting, jewellery making and card making.

2 planes collide at JFK!! Mum and sister on plane!!
My Mum and sister were a day late coming home from their trip to New York. Their plane collided with another plane on the runway at JFK. Mum and Karen were on the Air France super jumbo. Here is the link to the news article.
Yes they were fine. They only felt a slight bump and didn't know anything had happened until mum looked out of the window and saw the Delta plane damaged and then noticed their wing was damaged too.

Oh my God, Susy. I'm so glad they are okay. We got a special report when that happened. I can't imagine how scared they were.
