This is the first card I have made using the Docrafts Digital Designer Me to You cd's and Stamps.
Hello all. I am a Nursery Nurse working with special needs children within a main stream school and love it. I have worked as a NN for 34 years and wouldn't change for anything. I have always crafted in some way or another since the age of 7. At present I do a bit of patchwork and quilting, jewellery making and card making.

Thomas Kinkade bookmarks
I bought the Thomas Kinkade cd set from Joanna Sheen when it launched some time ago. I decided after watching Create and Craft today and seeing Joanna using it again I would have a go at something. I decided to have a go at some corner bookmarks. Hopefully appealing to the male readers out there. Here are a couple I made. I found a picture of a page of a book which I printed out so they could be packaged like they were in a book. I cropped the images and used my nestabilities to cut them out and make a mat.

Pirates Ahoy!!!
I bought this stamp at the Summer Crafting fair in Doncaster. I saw a similar card online and decided to have a go at it. I designed the skull paper using a free skull clip art image. The map was also a free clip art image. I used my new Spectrum Noir pens to colour the image which is from Lili of the Valley. The pens were good except I had a job getting the lids off and I don't have any dexterity problems.

House Mouse Christmas Card
I bought this House Mouse stamp when I was at the Doncaster Summer Crafting show. I decided to try colouring it today. It was quite quick and easy. I used a quickie glue pen and glitter for the snow. The promarker colours I used were - sandstone and blush for the mouse, pink carnation and satin for the birds and sandstone and satin for the branches. I used the sandstone promarker to ink the edges of my mats so they toned in. I used vintage photo distress ink on the edges of the image.

Make a gift bag..
A lovely easy gift bag for small gifts. I made one of these bags at a Stampin' Up party where the consultant who did the demonstration was Elaine Brainwood. Below are the instructions and video to make this bag.
Materials
14cm x 29.0cm piece of decorative card
9.5cm square piece of contrasting card
2cm strip of contrasting card (border punch one edge)
Piece of contrast for tabs
Ribbon
Tab punch (I used Stampin up round tab punch)
Instructions
Score 1.5cm on each side of the 9.5cm square.
Clip one line on each corner, fold on score lines, glue or tape corners and form a box.
Glue or tape around bottom of box and wrap decorative paper around. Stop short of joining and glue or tape the vertical edge then attach last piece. Attach decorative 2cm strip around the bottom.
Your bag is formed.
Now punch 2 tabs. Fold in half. Place one either side of the bag. Punch a hole in each and thread ribbon through and tie. (Fill with gift first)
Make a tag and decorate as required.

Mini Milk carton video project without sizzix die!!
Here is a mini milk carton I made as a sample for a Create and Craft show. I used a sizzix die to make this which was really easy as you can imagine. A lady emailed Lynda Chapman asking for instructions on how to make it.
Here are instructions and video on how to make this project if you don't own a sizzix mini milk carton die.
Materials
1 A4 piece of card (printed with any design you wish from the Cd)
Embellishments from the Cd to decorate.
Instructions
Cut card to 17cm x 12.7cm (Dashed lines are score lines and solid lines are cut lines.)
Mark along top and bottom edges at 4cm, 8cm, 12cm and 16cm. Score down joining marks.
Down the sides working from the bottom up mark at 4cm, 9cm and 12.0cm. Score across joining lines.
Mark on narrow score line at top at 2cm, 6cm, 10cm and 14cm.
Score diagonal line from 2cm mark to right corner as shown. Continue with remaining squares. Square 1 and 3 only have one score line and 2 and 4 have two score lines. At the top of the intersection of square 2 and 4 score a line across narrow piece.
Cut away bottom right corner as indicated in picture. Rub away all marks. At the bottom cut along score lines to first horizontal score line at bottom (as shown in picture).
Fold all score lines. Sides of carton are mountain folds and diagonal folds are valley folds.
Tape flap and attach to the inside of the corresponding side.
Stick bottom flaps together.
Now fold in top diagonals.
Decorate as desired and fill with various gift ideas.
You can seal it closed or use a paperclip or similar embellishment.
