Sore feet today.......

Today we took the bus as usual to Hyde Park.  We walked over to Wellington Arch in time to see some of the horse guards coming up from Buckingham Palace.

We then went down Constitution Hill to Buckingham Palace in time to see a small ceremony of Queen's guards marching and playing music.

We walked down the Mall and through St.James's Park where we saw some very friendly cygnets, geese and up in a tree there was a heron.

We continued our walk down to the Thames.  We watched as an air ambulance negotiated a tricky landing in the middle of a small park.

We strolled along the Thames and saw lots of great landmarks.

Millennium Bridge and the Shard

Cleopatra's Needle

Millennium Bridge

Tower Bridge

St.Paul's Cathedral

Shakespeare Globe Theatre

We walked across the Millennium bridge and went into the Tate Modern Gallery and saw some weird and wonderful art!! Including a Picasso.

By the time we'd done all this today my feet were aching....  We got ourselves back to the bus stop at Hyde Park but had to wait quite a while for the bus.  When it came it was crowded.  I was glad eventually to get a seat for a wee while.
Tomorrow hopefully will be a more relaxing day on my feet.....
